Formula

Each ml contains: Iron sucrose: 20 mg, Water for injections c.b.p: 1 ml.

INDICATIONS

Hippiron is recommended in the treatment of anemic processes attributable to iron deficiencies.

It is also indicated in cases where the presence of pre-anaemic syndrome is determined.

Indicated to improve performance in competition horses acting as an element of cellular oxygenation. Indicated before and after surgery to stimulate the appetite and during the crossing season in stallions as in females.

Auxiliary in the preparation of competition horses.

Dose

Horses weighing 400 kg or more: 20 ml per day for 10 days or 50 ml every third day, four times, up to a total of 200 ml.

Horses weighing between 200 and 400 kg: 20 mL every third day (4 to 6 times), up to a total of 80 to 120 ml.

Foals after weaning: 20 ml.

Hippiron can be diluted in glucose-based solutions or electrolytes, dissolve 20 ml of Hippiron in 500 ml of solution.

ROUTE OF ADMINISTRATION: Intravenous.
